『山崎覚太郎ー色漆の魅力』特別授業

今日は『山崎覚太郎ー色漆の魅力』の特別授業。山崎覚太郎は東京美術学校の教授で色漆の世界を開拓した漆芸家で、彼自身とその作風についてPPで説明した後、晩年の作品である『鯉』と『不動』の水彩画を実際に見てもらいました。その後其々の学年にその技法など気が付いた点を発表してもらいましたが,私自身もとても勉強になりました。
Today, I had a lecture about Yamazaki Kakutarou, the great urushi artist who was specialized in colored urushi. After making a lecture, we made research about his colored panel “Koi(carp)”. Gradate students made a presentation about the work. It was very fruitful and interesting time for me, too.
