スガンさんのやぎーLa chèvre de M. Seguin

仏文科の学生時代、原書購読で渡されたテキストが、”La chèvre de M. Seguin”直訳すれば「スガンさんのやぎ」。私は友人とただちに本屋に直行し、訳本の有無をチェックしたが発見できず,予習をしたが難物。
「山羊が山に行って草を食む話のどこがおもしろいのだ？！」とやけになり、テキストを指定した教師をそれ以降「スガンさんのやぎ」のあだ名で呼んだ。
そして、〇十年たって、偶然本屋で絵本を見つけた！！
読んでみると、自由になりたい山羊がスガンさんの云うことも聞かず山に行って自由を満喫するが困難に遭遇する示唆に富んだ本。ごめんなさい、原作者ドーデーさん、＆「スガンさんのやぎ」先生＝確か本名は田辺先生だったっけ？私たちはできの悪い生徒でした！！！

When I was a student of French literature, I was given “La chèvre de M. Seguin” as a text book. My friend and I went to the bookshop looking for a Japanese translation, but we couldn’t find any and dropped our head. We tried to translate but we couldn’t understand why this book, a story of Mr. Seguin’s goat eating glass on the mountain, was selected as a textbook. It was very bored. We called the lecturer with the nickname “La chèvre de M. Seguin” since then.
After some ten years has passed, I found Japanese translated picture book of “La chèvre de M. Seguin”. It is so interesting!!! Sorry, Mr. “La chèvre de M. Seguin”.
