東郷神社での挙式に出席

今日は原宿の東郷神社で、息子のオックスフォード大学時代の親友サムとレベッカの結婚式と披露宴に出席。サムは現在ジャパンタイムスで日本に関する記事を書いたり大学で教えています。サムとレベッカは挙式で羽織袴と打掛、披露宴で大礼服とドレス。外国人同士の東郷神社での挙式はたぶん初めてだそうです。イギリスからそれぞれの両親や親せきも来られ和やかな式でした！

Today, I attended the wedding ceremony and party for my son’s best friend at Togo Shrine, Harajuku. The family and friends came from U.K and gathered to celebrate the young couple who wearing Japanese kimono at the ceremony and court dress at the party.
